Stop making boring sh*t. Start making designs that mean something.

In this 1.5-hour seminar, I will break down the creative process behind my tattoo and painting designs,

from the first idea to the final composition.

After more than a decade of tattooing and years of experimenting with different styles, I developed a way of designing that combines realism, bold illustrative lines, composition, storytelling, and strong visual direction.

Without simply throwing different styles together.

This seminar is about learning how to think when you design.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Find inspiration outside of tattooing and turn everyday ideas into original concepts

  • Start a design from a simple idea and develop it into a complete composition

  • Break a design down into main subject, secondary elements, and background/fillers

  • Create visual flow and direction that works with your medium, not against it

  • Choose references that actually serve your design

  • Adapt photos and references specifically for tattooing

  • Use contrast, curves, colors, and detail intentionally

  • Combine different styles without creating visual chaos

  • Build a color palette that makes the entire piece feel cohesive

  • Think about how your design will age and still look good years later

  • Create stronger compositions instead of relying on individual elements to carry the piece

  • Avoid the dreaded blank page and develop ideas with a repeatable creative process

This isn’t about copying a style or following a formula.

It’s about developing the ability to make creative decisions with intention so your work becomes more original, more recognizable, and more effective.
